Northern Door Activism was organically formed in the summer of 2022 after the U.S. Supreme Court officially reversed Roe v. Wade, declaring that the constitutional right to abortion, upheld for nearly a half century, no longer exists. There was momentum in the moment to come together out of frustration, and we successfully organized our first march held on July 5th in Sister Bay. The women’s rights march was sponsored by over xx local businesses and involved over 300 people. Since that day, we’ve been continuing to organize around key issues that are important to us and to our community.
