Pinwheel Project: Gun Violence Awareness

Gun violence is currently the #1 cause of death for children in America. The Pinwheel Project is meant to bring awareness to this issue and encourage action, however you choose to get involved. There is no one right way! Here are some resources to help guide you.

  • Write and call your Senators and Representatives to voice your concern

  • Start a conversation about gun safety with a friend or family member

  • If you're a gun owner, review gun storage safety recommendations

  • Have gun safety conversations with household members

  • Review the warning signs of violence (below)

  • Support anti-gun violence organizations like Moms Demand Action and Everytown

  • Vote for anti-gun violence candidates

  • Get involved! Join our email list for more action items and events
